This place stinks, their service is pathetic, and the fees are outrageous! ($10 just to pay by phone)
I'm in the credit union now, there's 6 people in line, 2 customer service reps open, 1 working on something else and a manager, I guess, who looked out at the customers and sat down at her desk. I thought this is when the manager is supposed to step in and help.
Fees are no more. Great place to put your money, help you save and earn.
I use to love this place now they are like all the other banks after your money please bank somewhere else.... will be looking at another credit union
I can't wait to pay off my loan as quickly as possible so I don't have to deal with this firm anymore. I recommend you stay as far away as you can!
This place is absolute garbage - a one star ranking is too high! Every time I call, no matter what day of the week, what time of the month, or what time of day, I'm forced to wait on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes before anyone bothers to answer the phone. Not only that, they screwed up my loan and made my father the primary owner so that I can't even set up online payments without his help. Each time I called to find out why I couldn't set this up, I was given a different answer before they finally told me what the problem is. They still refuse to fix this problem. It's already been a week since I sent in my early payment by check, and they still haven't cashed in this check.
FCFCU used to be a great Federal Credit Union. It has since been restructured to transition away from a Federal to a State Chartered Credit Union. Shortly after the charter conversion they announced that all accounts will be transitioned to a fee-based system where they charge you for the privilege of them investing your money for their own benefit. As a 15-year loyal customer, I will be closing my account shortly
