We had our basement backup with sewer water and had JL fox come on a Saturday to clean it up. The water receded and it just needed to be mopped and drywall cut out. While they were doing this the workers were playing ping pong on my table, playing with my darts, and complaining to me about having to mop up my basement. This was unprofessional and rediculous. Even with them only working half the time it took 3 guys 4 or 5 hours to get it cleaned. I then I sorted it and they had done a terrible job cleaning. So I had to call and have them come back again. They then quoted me an outrageous invoice at $10500 for 5 hours of work! I wanted to ask some questions about the invoice so I tried calling the contractor whoever was the boss John Fox himself. I could never get ahold of him. It took over a month calling a couple times a week and leaving many messages before I got ahold of him. Then John just shrugged me off and said that he would take $2500 off the bill. Well then I got an invoice for the same amount saying I was late on my payment so I eventually had to go to their building and tell them this was how much I would pay. Luckily they accepted it.
Work got them.
Unprofessional, uncoordinated, unskilled!
I would never go to JL Fox again and would strongly advise against anyone else going to them!
