I had such high hopes for this store. I was hoping to be able to make it our home store and eliminate, or greatly reduce, shopping at the big box stores, which I detest. That won't be the case. Inconsistency is the problem.
Deli= great service, great selection, great quality.
Meats= watch expiration dates, especially when meats are on sale. How disheartening to see a great sale only to find that those items on sale are 1 day from expiration, or expired on the day I'm shopping. Grrrrr!!!!
Awesome awesome place to get groceries. Meat department was super clean and probably the best meats around love fresh thyme
The food choices are the most freshest of all the stores I have shopped. The employees are very kind. The sale ads have very reasonable prices.
Staff= mixed reviews. Deli staff- awesome, Produce staff- seem to hear lots of gossip and grumbles, Grocery staff- fine, Cashiers- mostly awesome, unfortunately some give a last impression by grumbling and not smiling. Hello!?!?!
I just miss good old-fashioned customer service and great hiring practices.
Supplements/toiletries= fantastic selections, fantastic service.
Garbage Brats! Every time I have had their Brats they taste like there a year old! Be careful of their deli and meat dept!
Their prices are amazing!! Most cheaper than Walmart or Kroger produce, and waaay better quality. They sell bulk items in the bins, so if you're trying to be more trash conscientious, you can bring in your own bags/jars/tubs to be tared at the register, and fill those up instead! I love this.
Grocery= watch expiration dates, because I've picked up many an expired item!
Produce= sometimes fresh, sometimes not, really not. If 75% of your shopping is in the produce section, like ours, you know the good stuff when you see it, as well as old stuff when you see it.
For children only: this location has a farm stand with one free apple or whatever is in these bins. (See photo below.)
