Great meal and service. Our server Bethany did an excellent job making sure all of our needs were met. She has a great personality and checked in on us making sure if we needed any additional service with drinks or food.
This is only my second visit and the two experiences were very different. Sunday dinner at the bar was great. Prompt, courteous, fun service. Food was very good also. Thursday dinner at the bar wasn't so good. Steak was brought at the same time as salad. Brought wrong steak. Once dinner was delivered, I didn't get any attention from the two bartenders. I sat for 30 min after finishing before they asked if I wanted anything else. Jeckyl and Hyde between the two nights.
We always have a good experience at the restaurant but the take out is wrong every single time. If you order the steak salad be sure to check it because you will be paying for items that are not there. This happens every time. I don't even think whoever takes the order is familiar with the menu. I personally am done with carry out, because it is a fail. The steaks are good though and I will go back for dine in only.
We always have a great experience eating in the restaurant, but their carryout counter is a different story, and I debated dropping them 2 stars because of it. We get carryout from this location nearly every Sunday evening, and lately it has been extremely disorganized. The people that answer the phone and take orders seem flustered and not familiar with the menu. Many times the food is not ready within the quoted time. Our most recent order, I ordered smothered chicken, with Jack cheese (menu states Jack cheese or gravy as topping). When they went over the food at pickup, the chicken had no cheese, and they then told my husband it doesn't come that way, even though it is clearly stated on the menu. He said they were so disorganized it wasn't worth a fight. Also, ALWAYS have them check your carryout order. Once they forgot my husband's steak and luckily I thought that bag seemed light, and checked before we had left the parking lot. I hope they can get their act together better soon, or we may start choosing elsewhere for our Sunday evening tradition.
Food was amazing. We ordered drinks and the appetizer. After that, we were never asked if we wanted to order meals and were never given a notice about when the kitchen was closing. We finished the appetizer, and were asked if we wanted our check. We told oir server, Mo, that we wanted to order our meals. And to that she replied, "i thought you guys just wanted the appetizer." Just because a people are wearing sweats doesn't mean they're only ordering an appetizer. You lost yourself a good $10-$15 tip. Maybe next time you could warn your customers when the kitchens about to close!
