Nice atmosphere, great service and good food. Very nice presentation of entreees and delicious dessert. They were out of the bottle of wine we ordered and we ended up with a 2015 Cab, Annabella. While the wine was fine, they charged $54 for a bottle that retails for $17--markup seemed a bit high.
When there for then first time last week. Didn't even know about this place. Met some friends and had fun. Nice place. Good mac & cheese. Menu is just ok.
Came New Years Eve at 5:30. Shared the field greens salad, Apple cider vinegar was terrific. Wife got the Ox-tail bolognese, I got the special of 6 oz filet plus lobster crab on corn puree. Both meals were excellent, food was transformed into something better than its components. Service was excellent. A wonderful dining experience.
It had been some time since I was here, & I found the new menu to be excellent...We both had a small plates selection & it was very good...Our first waiter was in a hurry to leave from the moment we were given menus, but his replacement was a ball of energy & enthusiasm...She was great!
Four of us shared appetizers for dinner. Waitress was helpful with suggestion that rissoto would work well too. Good idea and good experience for us.
