Cool concept with sufficient parking across the street (although this may change in time). Their menu is interesting, especially drink-wise. And I absolutely like the way they've chosen to decorate and furnish.

For the food we give this restaurant a solid 5, it’s consistently amazing and very creative. However the ambiance brings down the overall score. It is VERY noisy at peak hours due to the room acoustics, and the first time we visited we could barely carry on a conversation. We went for brunch today around 2pm and had an entirely different experience and really enjoyed our meal and being able to hear each other. I had the steak frites and fries and it was delish!
If you have not visited this fantastic restaurant, you must come! Mr. Brian Baker; owner, you have succeeded in creating a wonderful and relaxing, adult atmosphere where excellent food is served.
I really love Open Society's atmosphere more than anything. I will say, compared to some other coffee places in town, the customer service isn't as great. But then again, I might have caught someone having a bad day. My other critique is that there are no outlets in the main big room, and from what I hear they did that on purpose since they serve food for dinner. However, to work it just doesn't make sense not to have them and force people to their back room. Other than that, the coffee is great, the decor is well designed and their breakfast items are delicious!
Great meal! Had the croquettes and I am hooked. I'll be back next week. My husband had the burrito and was very pleased as well. The wine, beer, and cocktail list is impressive. You'll be glad you tried them.
