Please, please, have someone go through each set and find the ones that are not working properly and either toss them out or get them fixed. We really love your theater, we visit almost weekly, but it’s so frustrating dealing with this every time and not really fair to your deaf or hearing impaired customers who can’t fully enjoy the movie experience. I know she can’t be the only one having issues.
I love this movie theatre. I've went here since I was a kid and it's gotten better. They've been slowly remodeling the whole place. The theatres have all been replaced with large leather recliners and wider walkways that completely takes out the claustrophobic feel of sitting in a full theatre. No the lobby isn't as nice as other theatres but who cares? I care about the comfort when I watch my movie and this theatre has that covered.
Here’s the thing. I LOVE this theater. I love reserving seats so we can take our time at concession and not feel rushed. I love the clean theater bathrooms and movie seats.
Not good for deaf or hard of hearing customers.
Black line on screen first to your right -- very distracting. Beware that if you get a large popcorn during a late showing, don't expect a free refill or compensation. Those things are expensive so I expect a second fill to take ho me. The manager said they were out and refused any way to compensate the lack of an available refill. Dumb on their part because a bucket of yummy popcorn in the kitchen has always been a great advertisement of a great time at UA in my home.
This is a great theater. The service is fast and nice, the seats recline and are extremely comfortable, There is great food and it is ready in a timely manner. On top of all of that, the movie experience is great, you can choose your seats ahead of time, and the sound quality is great.
However, my teen daughter is legally deaf and cannot hear and understand any conversation during movies. She relies a little on lip reading but mostly on closed captions. We have gotten the CC device at your theater numerous times and not once has she been able to watch the movie all the way through without issues. The problem is we don’t know until the movie starts if they will work since previews are not closed captioned. Either the device doesn’t work at all and I have to run out (during the movie) and wait at the box office line to exchange for another set, or they will work some of the time but not all of the time often skipping several lines in the dialog. It’s gotten to where I also ask for a pair so we have at least one backup when hers stop working. If they both don’t work then she either ends up just trying to lip read or I miss part of the movie-again. We just went to another Regal theater a few days ago while on vacation who have exact same devices and theirs worked perfectly THE FIRST TIME!
What a disappointment! We really like this theater with the comfy chairs. Never had a problem before. Today we came in and the concession stand workers were extremely slow and our theater was a disaster with junk all over the floor and popcorn on the seats. It obviously had not been cleaned.
