4 stars only because there's not much to it, especially having to pay an additional admissions for the use of the swimming area. Other than that my nephew enjoyed himself, he was looking forward to building sand castles but there's very little room for that here. The area for kids was great in size so he was able to swim around well.
I went to the beach and it's was really a rainy day, but it was nice enough time get in the water. Over all though, I would rather go to the water park. This was a really nice place, but I wouldn't come here again.
Best place ever even better than Turkey Run!!!
The swimming area kind of sucks. There is no real beach and you cannot really swim. The water is murky and dirty and there is a lot of debris and trash floating in the cordoned off swim area.
The people watching is second to none though, so there is that.
We just moved to Indianapolis and were recommended this park from our real estate agent. We went intially for the dog park but there is so much else offered. The dog parks are nice and big and there are sections for under 30 lbs and over 30lbs. There's huge reflecting areas, tennis courts, etc. Plus its very clean! We enjoyed it and will be regulars for sure!
