Been living at the apartments going on a year. Management is nice and friendly, maintenance comes pretty quickly, and the apartments themselves are decent. The area is nice and and clean most times, but the only thing I don't like about it is the excessive geese poop in the summer. Other than that, I would definitely recommend Abney Lake Apartments.
I called last week and someone told me that the Apts didn’t accept evictions but mines is from 2012 how will i know if it’s acceptable or not? Trying to move ASAP

I have been living here for several months now. When we were looking to move in the staff was so nice. The model apartment looked a little small but nice. The day we moved in their was an ant infestation in our bathroom and kitchen. The dishwasher has so much calcium deposits on it that the spinner inside it broke off. Put in a work order for that over a month ago and still haven't received even an acknowledgement they received it. The blinds broke off the window less than a week after we moved in. The neighborhood is horrible. There are cops here all the time and the neighbors are loud and inconsiderate. On the weekends they will party in the parking lot till 3 am. One of the main reasons we moved into this apartment complex was for the pool. The pool is STILL under construction and summer is almost over. They keep giving a later date when it will open and the date keeps passing by. The laundry room is disgusting and usually flooded. They have a awful system to purchase a special card to do your laundry that ONLY accepts a five dollar bill. What the hell? I'm surprised it doesn't require you to stand on your head, eat an apple and sing "Mary had a little lamb" while your doing it. The computers the provide NEVER work and the gym that is provided for your use requires an EXTRA $25 to use after 6pm. I'm sorry but if your going to advertise a pool and a gym...you should provide them in the cost of the rent. I can't wait for our lease to be up. Worst place I have ever lived in.
Abney lake was a horrible first apartment. I would expect with any well ran business the customer comes first. That is not the case with these people, the one and only concern they have is the money and how to make more money. Sadly the first month of lease, a man was shot and killed in our front yard area. Often hear people outside fooling around all throughout the night. The other few problems I had were with the management team. These management team at Abney Lake is sketchy. I was false informed on critical information multiple times. Such as rent amount, deposit/holding fee, late fees, ect. Management seems to get disrespectful when you ask questions. These people will give you run around answers and will offer zero effort to help solve disputes. Terri is simply belligerent and rude. She was very disrespectful over the phone and was very child like when I talked to her in person. I don't not recommend.
