Awesome Vet, love everyone there. They know how to properly take care of my Whippet. I moved 40 minutes away and will still take my doggie to them.
Had a bit of a scare over last weekend with our dog, who has been with us now for about a month. The vet is out on Saturdays, but the front desk was very reassuring and knowledgeable. She set up an appointment for us Monday morning and gave us steps for what we could do in the meantime to make our pup more comfortable. Our appointment could not have gone more smoothly. Our dog was very nervous/anxious in the lobby, but they made him feel right at home during the examination! They answered all of our questions, gave us the appropriate medicine and shots, and our dog is feeling much better now! Everyone we met seemed very knowledgeable and they clearly make customer care a top priority. They also have a candle in the lobby that they light if anyone has lost their pet, which I think is very thoughtful.
I have been a customer for 13 years and would highly recommend Decatur Vet and Avon Vet! They ROCK!!! They all love my dogs and my dogs LOVE going there!!! Tails wag as soon as we pull in and when we get inside they go to the counter looking for all their favorite people!!! Always a pleasant experience!!! Thank you guys for always caring about my fur babies!!!
