The weekend breakfast buffet is also great, and if you want something special that's not on the buffet, just ask the cook, and they will make it for you. Slabs of yummy ham, endless bacon, and sausage patties, along with taters, biscuits n gravy, scrambled eggs, french toast, and more, whats not to like.
We love this place. We love the friendly atmosphere and the owners are amazing. This is our go to spot when we can get there
We walked in and they told us we could sit anywhere. They never came up to the table just asked us what we wanted to drink from behind the bar. They did bring us cokes and then never checked on us again. It's not a big place, all they had to say was hey we'll be right with you, sorry for the wait. I caught waitress eye several times and they just ignored us. We ended up just leaving money on the table and walking out, and they still said nothing.
I like the giant BBQ sandwich, add cheese, and bring a fork because you can not pick it up to eat it due to it being packed with so much meat and BBQ, its just pouring out from all sides, such a yummy mess of a sandwich, it must be tried by all.
I have eaten many of their breakfast and lunch items. All very good, very large portions, good prices. Old 50's style mom n pop cafe, small inside with limited seating, lots of memorabilia from yesteryear all over the walls. Kitchen in middle of cafe, so the food is basically cooked right in front of your eyes.
Although the place is cool... Money pinned to the ceiling from people traveling from all over the world and the different art work that is historic, but the service is a little on the dry side, you almost get the feeling your bothering the owner coming in to eat. And although the food looks good in the pictures, I had a cheese burger that was just awful in taste, the beef you could tell was a processed patty and very dry with no flavor and the bun it came on tasted stale, although it was different I would never go back there again.
We love this place! Lots of bacon on the BLT! The Mile High sandwich is great! Love the seasoned fried mushrooms. The 50’s decorations are really neat! Staff are super friendly!
The fast movin short order cook is great to chat with while he's cookin up a storm on the grill. Quite the skilled multi-tasker he is. The staff is friendly, and my drink stays full.
Good food, good service, good prices. Try them!
