I've already left one review for the Simon Cancer Center, but I feel it's necessary to leave another here. Today I spent more than an hour on hold, and got bounced from one person to another, when all I wanted was to reschedule an appointment that I was given less than 24 hours notice of I live 3 hours away and I was told that IU was the only place that can help me. I call BS. So far the only thing they have done is cause more stress. I've been waiting for over 3 months to find out if I have CANCER, yet I keep getting the run a round. Their pathetic hold message says how they care about their patients, but I beg to differ. They do NOT care one bit. The times that we have made the long drive there, which is excruciatingly painful for me, because I have a broken sacrum, the people we've had to talk to were rude, and didn't seem to know anything. I only ever had one lady be nice to me, and that was when I asked the information desk lady where a drinking fountain was. Well after hobbling down a long hall with my can, there was no fountain as she insisted there was, I was so worn out, in pain and just over stressed that I broke down, thankfully some wonderful lady who worked there got me a bottle of water. The valet people were rude, took over 30 minutes to get my car, then they got crappy with us and said if you wanted your car, you should have came down 15 minutes before you wanted to leave to request it. 15 minutes before I was ready to leave, I was in a doctors office being talked to like an idiot by the doctor, he talked to me like I didn't know where my injuries and possible cancer were located. They also don't listen, at all. I live 3 hours away and they always seem to forget that. They are dragging their heels, and no one there cares about the patients, no one. I've only got 11 weeks of my FMLA left before it's maxed out and I'm with out a job, I've told them this repeatedly, yet they are still dragging their asses. I don't see what is so hard about providing good polite patient care. Patients dealing with cancer or possible cancer are already stressed out their the fullest, you would think they would be aware of that, but no, they just stress you out more and treat you rudely and can never seem to answer a question, they love to transfer you to someone else. Well, if you don't know your job, maybe you shouldn't be there making patient experiences worse. What's next, do I have to call and email the board. I highly doubt they care either, but a place like that should NOT staff assholes, rude nurses, and people who talk down to you, when you are only there for HELP.
This hospital hires racist nurses that think all white babies should be sacrificed to wolves. If they are so incompetent as to hire such an awful excuse for a human being, then I would highly doubt their medical competence.
I had two different teams of doctors telling me two different things about my Mother as she was dying. This is by far the worst hospital I have ever seen. The only good thing was the nurses.
I would not have a white child here. Appears this hospital only supports black lives. It's sad how much hate they have in their hearts. If the hospital keeps this trash on. They will just end up being a co-conspirator to murder.
I was hospitalized here about 10 years ago and through the hands of the Lord, they saved my life! I would give them 10 stars if I could. Thank you!
