Nicely redone. Still a little dirty and a few bugs. No breakfast. No extra pillows when i asked for some. Not the worst. But id probly stay elsewhere
The price was right - that’s about it. And when you check out, make sure that you ask for a refund of your safe fee (even if you don’t want to use the safe), and it will be reluctantly removed from your folio.
The comforter in my room had a hole pre-burned in it for my comfort. It was not worth complaining about, plus I was afraid that I would get charged if I complained. $52 was pretty inexpensive however. I met no mean people during my stay, and the vending machines were fully stocked and operational.
My room was absolutely disgusting. The bottom of the tub was black, the shower head had stuff caked all over, there was who knows what splattered all over the walls, floor was dirty. The sheets had blood and other stains. There were crumbs between the fitted sheet and mattress cover. There were huge cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling. We also found a a marijuana roach. We went to the office and to check out and tell them how terrible the room was and the man at the desk said “I don’t know why you are coming at me when I’m not a housekeeper”.
The night clerk lady behind the bullet-proof glass was very nice. I think that the morning shift lady just had some “poor bedside manner”. Just keep in mind that anger comes from hurt. Rough crowd after midnight leads to both bullet-proof glass and poor bedside manner I suppose.
My stay at red roof inn was great I was able to check in with no problems the rooms were very clean and the front desk worker was very professional. Overall my stay went perfectly.
We arrived late and the night clerk was pretty surly. We could only get one key and the house rules required id's from both of us. This was the first time I had ever dealt with these rules, and the woman working did not seem to care what we thought. Morning staff was sympathetic. I would likely try another Red Roof next time in Indy.
However, the bitterness of poor quality lasts longer than the sweetness of low price. Call me bitter. I won’t think you’re mean.
