I went to the store yesterday night and ordered a sandwich. As I was about to leave my buddy called and wanted a philly. I placed the order and I waited about 15-20 minutes for the sandwich. Once the sandwich was made I got a ride home. Upon arrival my buddy realized his sandwich was messed up. I called the store for a refund when the same lady who took my order answered the phone. I explained to her how it was messed up and she could only offer me credit. I explained that it was for someone else and they were giving me money and now they can’t eat it so I would just like the money back. The lady tells me she must speak to a manager. She comes back on the line and tells me I must make it in the store tonight (she didn’t mention they closed in less than half an hour). I google when they close and realize that I have almost no time to find a ride and get there. When I finally arrive right in the brink of time, the same lady who took my order and was on the phone who left to speak to a manager claimed she was a manager and began to handle the issue. They were yet to offer a good explanation on why I was forced to go down there in a 20 minute window due to them messing up the order. By the time the refund was given on the sandwich and I got back home, my original sandwich was cold and soggy because the store gave me no option but to rush down there. I ended up paying 15 dollars post refund for a sandwich, fries, and lemonade that were not even edible the hour and a half later that I was able to sit down after having penn station run me around town. I would very much like the owner to contact me as I am very unhappy and I still have the complete sandwich and receipts.
The staff was a little pushy in terms of trying to get me to buy more stuff, but their subs are fantastic. There's quick service and a lot of comfy seating for smaller groups and individuals.
Great subs. Love the real lemonade! Sure wish more restaurants had great lemonade.
Pretty good - food is usually fresh but is a little pricey. Expect to wait 15 minutes at peak lunch time. Staff behind counter were a little confused on ringing up orders and cooker was kind of rude out loud to another employee. Overall, it's close to my work and I'll be back.
