Anything by the White River is great, but this place is a true gem. I only got to walk a bit of it, but I am bringing my bike to explore some more for sure next time.

An easy to miss entrance leads to a mountain biking trail that is close to the city and offers a fun ride with jumps and technical obstacles. It does take a while to dry out after a heavy rain, so make sure to check out if the trail is open first.

This is the place I first started to ride Mountain Bikes. It is a fast moving trail with lots of small hills and zig zags. A great place to learn to ride off road. There are a few technical places you may want to walk on the return trail near 465 if your new to the sport. Trail goes 7 miles and will take a beginner almost an hour to complete. There are pro riders that can turn 30 minute laps. All in all a great trail system.

A basic to intermediate mountain biking trail within easy driving distance from downtown Indy and most of its suburbs. I did my first MTB session here and found it to be challenging yet doable. Beginners can take it slow and manage it well at around an hour, and the more experienced tend to race it to better their speed as training for timed events (doable in half an hour if experienced). The ride is quite scenic along the White River. It can be congested as this is only one of a few courses in the Indy area, so make sure to let faster people pass by as this is common MTB courtesy. If the gate is closed, please don't ride on it. They make sure that the course is preserved from damage when it's too wet, so recent rain may preclude the course's openness.

Town run trail is smooth and not technical at all. They throw some drops and kicker ramps in here to make things interesting, but it's not enough. This would be a great place for beginners to learn how to ride and carry flow.
