The two men who installed our gutters were very particular about details. They especially paid attention to making the downspouts stay close to the surface of the house exterior and made sure the water fall was correct. More importantly to me was they appeared to enjoy their job and wanted the outcome to be perfect. And it was! Thank you Richmond Exteriors.

When the young man came and gave me a quote on gutters it was half the price of the competition. He let me know that my house didn't need as many downspouts as it currently had. When the installers came, the first thing they did was get upset because there was a partial rubber roof in the back, he starts telling me (single female) that it's not mentioned in the contract, he doesn't have the right tools, it will probably cost more, he needs to call the company, and he's not telling me these things nicely, he was mad like I had something to do with it. I let him know I had the drill bit they needed to do it. (Of course the next day when I asked for my bit back, they told me the guy that isn't there today has it, and I never got it back. Now for the fun part, I get up on the roof 10 or so months later and the gutter is full of standing water, breeding mosquitos, etc... I call and within a few days the guy comes out to adjust the gutter to flow towards the downspout, he laughs and says to me that he had no idea why the young man had them install smaller downspouts on a larger gutter. So at that point I realize just how much I was had. Now I have to clean the gutters every 2 weeks through fall and winter. The back one that was adjusted is black. The front is streaked with pollution and I got on a ladder and tried to clean it with soap and a sponge, but with no luck.

As one woman said you can't leave a review unless you click on a star, but would give them a negative if I could. Found this company through Home Advisors, I had to contact them, got an e-mail that someone would get in touch with me soon, had to e-mail them several days later just to see if they had time for any new business.

We had this company install gutters in August. They did such an excellent job, we decided to order a new patio door with them on August 16, 2017. Finally, after months of inquiring about the status and being told it had not come in and after my husband, becoming somewhat irate on the phone, miraculously the installer phoned the next day saying they would do the installation that Wednesday, November 29. Ridiculous amount of time from order to installation. He said they would be here around noon, which changed to 2:00 with them showing up at 3:30. This meant a lot of the installation was in the dark. He left without totally completing the job because of a mistake he made. My husband phoned the next morning telling the scheduler, Roger Allen, that the installer needed to come back, but we would be out in the afternoon so call our home phone to make sure we were there. Instead, he called my husband 's cell saying he was in our driveway. Of course, as we said, we weren't home. He said no problem, he lived nearby and would come back. By Tuesday, December 5, not a word from anyone, but we sure did get an invoice by email. I phoned Roger Allen and he admitted they dropped the ball with us several times. He was so generous in offering a WHOLE $25.00 adjustment on our bill. I said thanks, but no thanks. Nothing that happened was our fault. 100 % screw up on their part and he was not embarrassed in the least to insult us with the offer of $25.00. How big of him. If you use this company stay on them constantly and don't believe a lot of what they tell you.

They ended up making an appt. with me but in the end they had to cancel, said he was in Bloomington, and that he would look my house up and send me a quote, that they really wanted my business. Well it is now 2 weeks later, still have not heard a word from them. Guess they didn't need my business after all ! !

We had a very large project of roofing, gutters and siding replaced on our house, garage & sheds and all was handled in a very timely matter going beyond what was quoted with fixing some unseen damages without extra cost to us. Dealing with the people was a great experience from our first call to the office to get a estimator out to the project manager and the crews doing the job, work was professional done correctly with everything cleaned up nice at completion, No complaints at all on our experience.

You get what you pay for.... :(
