This doctor is first class! Very professional staff and a very nice office. I would definitely recommend Dr. Christie.

Only after I had been examined and you were preparing an eyeglass prescription for me, was I informed that I had to co-pay for this visit myself, and that you do not accept my coverage. It was you who informed me of this, long after Christie Vision Care had confirmed differently.

What a wonderful place. I been to many eye doctor before. I have to say, this place has it right.

On August 23, of this year, I kept an appointment at your office. In making that appointment with your office, I had been assured by your assistant that my insurance was accepted. The acceptance of that coverage is the sole reason I chose your practice.

My initial experience was good but after that I will never go back. I have had to wait 29 days so far for my glasses to come in and still waiting..... I waited 14 days before calling because I know insurance can take a little longer. Called back a week later and was told my frames never made it and she would overnight. Here we are a week later AGAIN and I HAD TO CALL to see where my glasses were. Still nothing......I will never go back and I will never refer a single person to this office. Horrible customer service and follow-up.

Upon arrival to that visit, I presented my insurance card to the front desk employee who asked for them. I believe it may have been Sarah. She took it from me, made copies and handed it back. Not once did she say it wasn’t accepted, neither did she refuse the card when I handed it to her, but she made copies, validating her prior statement that your practice would bill to my insurance.

You have certainly defrauded me, and I believe deliberately. I cancelled my eyeglass order because of this, and I am asking that you refund the $32.82 I was forced to pay due to your office’s deception.

The front desk person, Sarah or whomever, may not be the brightest bulb in the lamp, but she should be cognizant enough to know the meaning of coverages and how they are applied to patient accounts. If not, then this woman has no business in public. Or, your entire premise is a bait and switch, just to get patients into the office, then telling them their coverage cannot be billed after they are deeply entrenched in owing you several hundred dollars. This is fraud.
