I look back over a year to see how much I have healed from the aftermath of the Eskenazi disaster. It's a shame Eskenazi has poised itself as the paramount advocate for the lower-income mentally ill. Fortunately I have a supportive family who saw the wreckage Eskenazi psychiatrists and staff made in not honoring my wishes. Dismissive is the word I feel best describes the doctors and practice at this clinic. Had I stayed with this clinic and not followed my gut in leaving I am confident I would not be around to write this post today. I encourage all potential clients and caretakers to think twice before using this clinic's services. Once locked in the Eskenazi system I was a prisoner to a larger system they have the potential to create. I am no longer their prisoner and have found freedom in real care. My suggestion is simple: Don't go here!
It's an ok place it's busy on wen and on the first of the month the staff are polite and knows how to deal with mental health ppl
I brought my adult daughter there a great many times like every Tuesday for more than a year. They changed a lot of her meds. Each week I would tell them how she was doing and it was not good. The last time there about one month ago like always I told them she was not doing good and stated I BELIEVE SHE NEEDS MORE HELP RIGHT NOW AS ALL DAY EVERY DAY SHE TALKS ABOUT TAKING HER LIFE, like always they seam to not believe me I asked if she could stay some place where they could watch her more close for a few weeks. THEY SAI D WELL SHE HAS A PPOINTMENT ON JAN 31st to see her doctor,. WELL she could not wait that long we went home and two days later my loving daughter took her life MY DAUGHTER DIED JANUARY 11 th waiting for that Jan,31 doctor appointment. I don't believe they know what they are doing there. I write this in memory of my daughter SHERI A COLLINS
My boyfriend is currently going here and so far they been good to him the only problem that I had was they kept telling him that he needed to call at 8am to take his assment my boyfriend called at 7:59 no answer and when he called at exactly 8 the line was busy then we waited about 10 minutes and call back and they told him that they were all booked up and he needed to call at 8 but he did and the line was busy but he finally got in there after about a week and so far he said that it's helping him but based on the reviews I'm a little scared
Midtown has a very impressive staff considering their resources. The receptionist knows patients by their name and very polite.
