Here’s what I don’t get. You can have an item on order to ship to store for pick up. You happen to be in the store and see your item in inventory but app still says you need to wait 6 weeks for pick up. Cmon Apple...really? I know they will sell it to you then and there but really?
As an avid Apple user, I’m super thankful for the fact that there is an Apple store in my city. It’s a huge plus because I refuse to take my Apple products anywhere else, even if they call themselves a “certified” place. With that said, this place is always crowded. With the new store having opened this summer 2017, it definitely helps make things feel less clasterpohibic and I keep wondering how they managed it before. For the most part, we’ve always experienced good customer service and help when needed. One thing they aren’t particularly good at is keeping their time commitments. If you have an appointment, plan to get there early. If you get there one second past your scheduled time, you can forget your appointment and have to reschedule another one. But, they are never on time. The plus side of that is once it is your turn, they are usually pretty good about taking their time and not rushing you through the appointment, so that’s probably why the time delay for them to get to you. One of my only complaints with Apple products is that their charging cords are terribly made. I hope they change them to make them hold up better. The plastic/rubber material always splits and leaves wires exposed where they meet the hard plastic casings on each end. Other than that and the fact the the phones are really only made to last a year, basically forcing you to get a new one every time one comes out, I don’t have any complaints.
Super crowded store but the staff are always there and ready to help. They answer questions honestly. I feel like I’m talking to an actual person when I talk to them, not just somebody who works for Apple. Although, they need to restock their Apple iPhone X ASAP!
90% of the time I leave this store feeling feeling like crying or like I want to punch someone. Most of the employees I’ve experienced aren’t interested in working or selling you anything. They’re leaning on the table, you have to keep prodding with questions to find out anything about the products, advice I’ve been given ends up being a major regret, general indifference to helping you, etc. They obviously don’t work on commission. I try to just test stuff in the store and order online. For the large amount of money you spend on anything here I’d expect better customer service and product knowledge. I dread anytime I need to go to the store. Granted, this is just my experience and there may be some stellar employees that I’ve never had the pleasure of working with.
This store is ALWAYS CROWDED don’t come in without a Genius Bar reservation unless you want to wait. Beyond this I love this store get the Apple store app and you can checkout on your phone. This will help move everything along a lot faster. My largest complaint about this store is it takes 1 hour for a screen fix with or without a Genius Bar reservation but without the reservation you’ll be waiting for an additional hour for some to tell you you need a new screen.
