Besides this one issue the store is the best place to go for any musical gear.
I end up at this store more than I would like. Pretty much what you would expect from a big box store. They have loads of selection and the staff is OK. It used to be much easier to navigate and find things but they added the lesson rooms and obliterated half the store. Now I find myself bumping into people and trying not to knock guitars over while I look. Sometimes it is difficult to get help from an employee.
I have bought two guitars here within a couple months. The selection is very good & the associate's are very knowledgeable & willing to help with whatever it takes. The prices seem to be reasonable & the quality of the gear is great, even the used gear.
I only have one issue, I bought a roadrunner bar stool last night it said to be 38$ but when I got home I noticed the receipt said 45.99$. I called for my complaint but they said it was probably makes wrong & if it goes on sales within so many days ,I will be gave the difference.
No one greeted us, acknowledged we were there, asked if we needed help. A few employees on their way to do other things walked passed us, but never smiled or even looked at us. We had money in the pocket, but wanted some help and advice. Went to the register to ask for help. I was told basically, "Let me finish this and I can come help." Then I watched the employee finish with the customer and go on to help others who appeared after I did. Very poor approach. We walked out disappointed and will spend our money elsewhere in the future.
I went in looking for a second guitar to be kind of a beater. But being picky, I still wanted it to look nice and sound good. I was left alone until I asked for help, which I appreciated. I think it was Adam that helped me, young guy with dark hair and glasses. He was helpful, knew his stuff, and wasn't pushy. He helped me find a guitar and case and we came in under budget. Great experience.
Bad. They do not give you fair trade in value for your gear., even if some of it has never been used. I will never give them my business again. I do not recommend going there. I will order on line or use Sam Ash and other stores.
