Come on St. Francis you are better than this!

It's not ok to leave a 92 year old women in a room with no heat! After asking three times and asking for another room, which they said they didn't have, maintenance was finally called ! The room temperature was down to 60! I found the nurse on duty to be really rude and uncaring!

Brought my neighbor to ER with acute abdominal pain.Triage in the waiting room????? HIPPA law in effect?

In September of 2016, I have my gall bladder taken out. After I barely woke up the nurse was shoving a soda in my face and crackers telling me I needed to eat. Then she came in and told me to get dressed and I was not out of the anthesia yet. I threw up so hard I thought I broke something. She didn't even look at me and told me I was fine. Not been the only person this happened to. I then found out I needed my tubes removed in January of 2017 the nurses in the outpatient center could not get my veins and stuck me over 7 times and then call the doctor who they told" Good luck she has small veins." As she was standing outside my room for me to hear. I then later had to see a cardiologist who ordered a CT scan. I was sent to their Glenbrook facility where I was stuck 5 times because they couldn't hit a vein and then they scheduled me at the hospital the next day and told staff at Glenbrook told them to use an ultrasound machine to get the vein so I would not be stuck multiple times. The technician said he wasn't going to. They stuck me over 6 times before they got it. I was told they found a bone lesion and informed Dr Van Gemert who ordered blood work. She told me I had blood cancer without valid proof, scared the hell of me and my family and three weeks later see an oncologist who said you don't have Cancer but your doctor should never have told you you did without all proof. She knew I had a plantar wart and kept not removing it and it became bigger. All of this threw my anxiety out of control and my family was scared to death and the hospital refused to do anything over the matter. Plainly excused the doctor's actions. Plainly shows the only thing they care about is getting their money but not taking responsibility for their staffs actions.

Initial assessment done in acceptable time, but now waiting in acute pain, with no one checking on us for over 40 minutes! Is there a call button available?

Rude Staff and Uncomfortable Environment and furniture. I am a southsider and I really wanted to like this Emergency Room as I delivered both of my children at St. Francis 11 and 13 years ago. The nurse practitioner that I saw was great. The nurse and the doctor were a joke. They both had horrible attitudes and the doctor tried to tell me my son had epilepsy which the neurologist later debunked. Sorry, all these bad reviews are true. Go to Community North or St. Vincent's if you want to be treated like a person and not a wild animal. I don't think the little nurse and doctor understand that I pay $800 a month for health insurance AND I will also be paying their wages. The southside has no E.R. now as far as I'm concerned. Community North respects people and even has FREE valet for patients. I'll be taking my business North in the future.

The nursing and support staff, went above and beyond. The doctors were a huge dissappoint, talk down to us and slammed the hospital I came from saying they did not tell us the truth. The hospital were my wife has worked for many years. Sorry they did not figure out or want to figure out what the issue was. Only you going to have to live with it. Not impressed. Go to another hospital for outpatient surgery on Friday, knowing the issue will probably be resolved. I will never recommend st. Francis ever!!!!!!!!
