My insurance agent S.F. proved to be fairly incompetent. Friendly but overly chatty, shared a surplus amount of personal information, asked me the same questions repetitively, disorganized, no knowledge of computer security to protect my information on her personal laptop... I could go on & on. Most disturbing is she told me I didn't need to look over my completed health insurance application that she filled out, nor do I need a printed copy (because she didn't have a printer & didn't know how to save it as a PDF). Excuse me? Of course, I looked it over (and sent myself a PDF copy)... found a LARGE handful of mistakes (she didn't even ask me some of the questions on it, she just answered for me). Once home, I discovered even larger, more impacting mistakes that will affect my premium. It was very clear that she new very little about what she was doing... but she sure was proud of her co-worker boyfriend who is #2 in insurance sales nationwide (she said this more than once)! I should have trusted my initial instincts on this one...
