I'm increasingly frustrated with the length of time it takes for the Indiana DOR to pay the refund due on my income taxes. I filed in March and am still awaiting a refund (it's almost October). I'm a W-2 employee with a single K-1...it's not like it's that complicated to process my return! I speak with the DOR employees and don't seem to give a $hlT.
The people are usually very polite but not really helpful.
Tried to make me pay taxes even though i paid them already they said i had to back date it to 2016 for the payment to apply and had to send them a letter to trasfer the payment to 2016 i sent them a letter and of corse they did not get it and ended up getting a tax warrant for not paying taxes that i already paid they were magically willing to fix it over the phone after i was about to go to jail i served my country for 6 years and pay my taxes and this is how im repaid while theres so many who get a free ride who dont need goverment assistance and actually cheat on ther taxes and dont pay there taxes at all and they want to send me to jail becouse of there mistake what a fu#!$# up t state
I was worried to speak to someone after reading all of these reviews but was pleasantly surprised with the professionalism and sincerity the woman presented on the line with me. There was a mistake made on my tax form and she was very patient and handled my situation personally. I wholeheartedly believe in the golden rule: treat others the way you would like to be treated, and assume that is why i was taken care of so swiftly.
Taxation is theft ... And theft by pretending taxes are due that aren't is even worse theft
This place stole from my bank account and is now taking months to correct their mistake ...
WEAK STATE THANKS FOR NOTHING NO HELP AT ALL, THEY MUST REQUIRE PHONE OPPERATORS TO BE UNCARING,RUDE,CONDECENING,AND CONSTANTLY ANNOYED TO GET THE JOB. TERRIBLE THEY WANT OUR $$$ BUT WHEN WE NEED HELP WE ARE JUST CATTLE..... WAKE UP SHEEPLE , PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE AFRAID OF THEIR GOVERNMENT THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE AFRAID OF ITS PEOPLE!
