-Free parking lot
- The serving size should be consistent. You cannot give me a bowl full of soup today, and tomorrow a half bowl and not receive any complaints. Consistency is the key.
-owner cares about her customers and checks on them when she is around
- very short menu
- Always out on so much food. Maybe you should consider offering certain items on particular days (i.e Asun only on Tuesdays and Sundays).
This place seems to be a very popular place among the Nigerian diaspora. I have eaten three times at Eko and I have mixed feelings about the place. They have not been consistent with their service, and serving sizes. Each time I have ordered something different so I am not sure if they are always consistent with the taste. The owner is really nice. These are few things that I really liked and disliked about the place.
- waitress is very knowledgeable about every item on the menu and will explain them to you, if you ask
-Nice afro ambiance (They play nice Nigerian songs in the background, and it is not too loud for a conversation).
- group friendly place
Close to Lafayette Mall. Private, professional, and kids friendly environment. Personable service with delicious meal. Management is very exceptional connection with customers. Served specially as ordered. Clean in and out with a lot of parking spaces.
Great food and the owner is very personal and professional. Great place to grab a meal...African style.
They were out of so much food.... The waitress was very nice and helpful. I accidentally ordered something too spicy and she remade it for free. Jollof rice was very good but a tad spicy. I don't like spicy but I can handle this. The plantains were ooh so good.
-waitresses need to be trained on basic restaurant skills. They sometimes sound rude which is a turn off for me. I am not here to beg for food, so treat as if my business matters to you. ( The previous waitress would say hi, give you the menu, before asking if you would like to order your drinks. The new one just ask people rudely 'what do you want' without saying hi or even given them the menu)
- Clean restrooms
-decent Nigerian food
Pros:
Cons ( more like suggestions)
- replace those water glasses with hard colored plastic cups, it will make your life easier. Those water marks on the glass cups look disgusting and the glasses were chipped. I ain't drinking from broken glasses.
Their customer service is excellent anytime I call to order takeout and their foods are really tasty.... I’ll definitely recommend them anytime any day.
-authentic Nigerian food
- kids friendly place
