I had to change my review from a 1 to a 5. The new staff is more than willing to LISTEN and understand what I was looking for. Rick is the new manager and was extremely helpful. Mike made sure I got what I needed. Now my whole family can ride together. I can't wait until they get home. I'm so excited right now.
They seriously just picked up a lifetime customer.
Thank you Rick and Mike. You didn't make just one person happy, you made a whole family happy.
In my thirty years of bicycling my best bikes have been used. Quality new bikes ARE worth the money, but when the cost of a new bike starts approaching what I paid for my used truck, I'm out. But I also have enough experience with department store bikes to know they're not worth the (low) cost either.
This place always has tools and accessories that I need at last minute notice. For example they had a 23mm cone wrench in fact , they had every size available plus beer bottle openers. They didn't turn their nose up to the fact it's for a brand of bike they don't carry like that goat place. 10/10 will shop there again.
Zahra and Sylva professionally put together our work order to get my sons mountain bike tires from standard to tubeless. Mark is switching them over right now.
Great job. Great price. Great service.
Ps, they have a shop cat too!
I haven't taken my bike in for any repairs or adjustments, but after my experience, come spring I'm definitely going to give them a shot. Thanks!
For the last two years my son had been riding a department store bike; it was part of a local fundraiser, my son fell in love with it, and even though I was totally against it, I gave in and brought it home, and it was every bit as bad as I expected it to be. Cheap parts, incredibly difficult and time consuming to work on, which leads to it being, IMO, an unsafe bike. I recently lost two afternoons adjusting the brakes & derailleurs (with little success), and ended up at Circle City Bicycles (via Craigslist) where we purchased a 24" Trek MTB for under $200, which is an amazing price. My son is at the point where he might go through a growth spurt so he might only get a year out of this bike, but a Trek bike is going to have a much higher resale value, so I'm not so worried about spending a little more because when it's time for a bigger bike, I'm going to have more money to work with.
A very nice place to buy your bikes and bike accessories.
