You save a lot with their rebate offers. Their employees are helpful and friendly. It's easier to find help there than at Home Depot or Lowe's.
Usually OK on in-store customer service; however, their "rebates" are too often a joke for several reasons.
So much of housing materials, better to go with rebets. Will take 30 days to claim rebets. It can be used to purchase products from Menards
(1) Their "rebates" are NOT rebates. They are store credits where you must mail in copies of paperwork and receipts to Rebates International.
(5) FYI - Rebates International will not call you to answer questions. And, I've received incomplete refunds due to the delay in Rebates International issuing complete "store credits" in 2016. They have not answered by last two letters. I am still waiting!
(2) Rebates International gets a 1 Star for overall customer service, and sometimes a big "0" for customer service when they miss sending "store credits" in their 6-8 weeks promised time frame.
(3) I've had to return items to the store for full refund because "store credits" came late by months or not at all.
Found some Black Forest Gummy Worms for cheap. Black Forest makes the juiciest worms/bears, far better than Haribo.
Went to Menards to purchase some Birdseed and a couple other small items. I asked a young man where I could find small hand held fans. He took me to the isle with fans, but I was looking for the Coleman brand. He looked on his phone and stated they sold out, and then proceeded to look up what stores might have them and how many. I thanked him and went on shopping, like usual, getting more than what I came in for. About 5 or 10 minutes later, he found me in the store and had written down the original price and the current sale price and how many were in each of the 3 stores. I was VERY impressed with the follow through and the excellent service he gave me. That is the kind of employee I would want in my store. I stopped by the front desk to give him a ata boy for how fantastic his service was and realized I didn't know his name. I walked through the store to try to find him to no avail. I believe his name was Wayne????, not certain. I will look for him again when I am in the Indianapolis 96th Menards. This, by the way, was not my first great experience in this store.
(4) Once the store customer service gave me the rebates when I showed them the nasty letter I received from Rebates International after I contacted them about them not issuing "store credits" as promised.
