This is thebworst utility company i have ever dealt with we have lived in lawrence for 2 years the first bill wasnt recieved for 3 months and it was a disconnect notice bc we had not recieved any other bills and then to top it off our water for 2 years straight has fluctuated so much that we never can get a consistent month to month bill one bill states we have used 89000 units of water and then our next bill will say 60000 units every month it is different but nothing in our home changes we live in a 1 story 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms we have no pool no garden no hose outside nothing how is our water bill 400 dollars or better at times how is it even 150 dollars my mom lives in a 800,000 dollar home and her water and sewage is 60 a month so the past 2 months our water again has gone high to 118000 units of water used for a month and then again 98000 units of water for the month our water been is $1094.75 how is this possible when nothing in our home has changed it is ridiculous and of course bc who has 1000 for rent and 1000 for water on a month our water is shut off we have had 5 different plumbers to our home and they all say no leak on our end so my frustrations are severe i think it's time to file a law suit against them I think someone in lawrence is pocketing a lot of our lawrence residents money !!!!! They are full of it !
Paid my bill and all of a sudden got home and saw my water was shut off... :( tried to call and dont answer the calls... :( horrible service
This place is a joke. I have not received a bill from them in months. They are fully aware that this is an issue not only for me, but many other customers as well. One day I decided to stop by the office to ask what my balance was and to address the issue of the bill not being received. The lady at the front counter said many other customers have this same issue and that she thinks the bills are not printing correctly, therefore there are no printed bill to be mailed. ARE YOU SERIOUS!! Today, to my surprise the water got shut off. It totally skipped my mind to stop my the office every month for my balance, because they haven't mailed a bill in about 4-5 months. I called only to be told it's the Post Offices fault and if the bill is not returned they assume it is received. My question is, how is something returned that never went out? Online bill/ e-bill also is not an option. Very poor service.
I called to get my account balance since i lost the bill and the lady on the phone was very friendly and very quickly gave me the info i needed. I guess my only complaint is not having a portal where i can sign in and check my account info online
Misread my bill and come home and water was turned off. So even when i pay the bill, i have no water until their office opens in the morning! There has to be a better system in place. I'm just truly disgusted by the inconvenience and being stuck with this water with poor service.
