What kind of Trustees office is this when you claim to offer emergency assistance to families in need yet you run them through the ringer just to tell them no or send them back out to gather information your staff wouldn't even have (seriously, EVERY receipt for a month, a doctors statement for a pregnant woman with two small children to prove she can't work...really!!?) It's almost as if you want people to end up in the streets! A lot of the ones you're giving to actually know how to work the system and don't actually need it! This is the Christmas season and you're holding onto funds that belong to tax paying citizens who TRUST you to do right by those in need in the community. This is a terrible system, I understand that you have to put checks and balances in place but some of your staff aren't being checked and are discriminating against families that will be on the street without the help your office says it offers. Something needs to change!
