Pat, the lead mechanic, is friendly and gives status updates throughout the service. He also does his best not to let your initial request balloon into a bigger issue. There was a stuck caliper on my car that could've easily been replaced with a new part, but Pat used some tricks (mostly soaking in solvents for a couple days) to repair the existing part. It took a little longer, but saved money. Highly recommended.
Pat is amazing. So honest and quality work. I was told I would need 3 motor mounts replaced, at least. Pat discovered I only needed to have one replaced. My car is quiet and smooth-sailing again. I'm so appreciative.
Quality work at a fare price. Pat is one of the best mechanics I know in Indy. He's always polite and very knowledgeable about cars with 20+ years of experience.

If you want to get ripped off, go to Pat's Monon Automotive! First let me say that the only reason I went there is because the car wouldn't start after arriving in his lot. I drove the car there as I just happened to stop next door to an antique shop, which is no longer in business and I was stranded. I left a note explaining that the starter needed to be replaced. I didn't hear anything until after the work was done, and was shocked to listen to a voice message telling me the bill was going to be about $455! He claimed that diagnostics were necessary to be done in order to repair the vehicle. Long story short, if you have a situation where you can have your car towed to a trusted mechanic, please do so. It will save you money in the long run. A word to the wise, don't go to Pat's Monon Automotive or at least do your due diligence!
